Real Estate Broker / Agent is one who helps the home purchaser to get their dream home, who helps you in negotiations and guide you so that you don't get cheated by blacklisted builders.
but the problem is that such Real estate agents and brokers doesn't exist anymore.
Always try to buy a property directly from Owner / Builder or their Sales team, this is because agents get commission of 2% to 3% on the agreement value so they want you to pay higher to get more commission. Reputed builders either not give commission or give only 1% commission and C grade builders give more commission so for agent's good projects is one where they get more commission. Even builders don't show mercy to agents they give higher price with negligeable margin, so you get the property at higher rate if you buy via brokers.
The reputation of brokers is not good because they don't work for customers rather, they work for commission. An agent can regain his reputation only if he really helps the customers, work for the interest of customers not for commission. Once you will build reputation money will come, reputation cannot be purchased by money.

Get full knowledge of Projects, Builders
reputation and past projects quality and give complete information to builder

Don’t avoid the customer after sale, even if you
had made a wrong choice of the Project. Do whatever you can for the benefit of
the customer.
Don’t think for short term gain build long term relationship they will give you further leads.
